College Essay Revisions
During the process of writing my College Essay I went through multiple drafts and I got lots of people to look at my writing to ensure my College Essay would be the best possible. My first draft was only 250 words and was just a general outline of what I should include in my actual writing. My second draft was about 5 paragraphs with general ideas about different parts in my life that have affected my love for photography. By my third and fourth draft I had a clear and concise five paragraph paper I was proud to put my name on. I grew a lot in how to truly get my thoughts across in a way that I knew would make sense to the audience. I was pushed to enhance my vocabulary from decent to intriguing and to include more imagery into my writing to make it less bland. Through all the feedback I got I was able to create this very powerful sentence that I believe is a great representation of my love for photography. “The ability to communicate and share through photography really interests me, photos can express things in ways that words are unable to.”. Through talking to peers and mentors about my writing I was able to create a beautiful piece of writing I am proud to say I wrote.
